Service-learning to reduce wildfire disasters. Students of natural resources, environmental science, architecture and landscape architecture educated homeowners and land managers about fire mitigation and worked to reduce fuels, manage vegetation and protect 70 structures on more than 3,000 acres of the McCall Field Campus, Ponderosa State Park and surrounding areas.
