What is Room Renewal

Room renewal takes place in February each year allows students already living in University Housing to sign up for their room next year early. Students sign up in three stages: same room, same hall or building, and any hall or building.

Why should my son or daughter renew to live in the residence halls?

This year, we are offering LOCKED RATES on rooms for students who renew with University Housing! That means there is no increase in room rate for comparable rooms or you can upgrade your room to a Living Learning Community for THIS YEAR’S RATE!

Safety – Key card entrances to buildings for security and a 24-hour help desk provide security for students.

One affordable bill –Electric, water, sewer, garbage, cable, laundry and Internet are all included, making it easy to manage finances from month to month.

Academic success – Students who live on campus are more likely to graduate, have a higher GPA and graduate faster. Plus, living in academic themed communities makes it easy for students to find a study group anytime.
