
Applying to the Residence Halls
Thank you for reserving a room through University Housing. Please be aware of the following when reserving your room online:
- You must be admitted to the University of Idaho for the term(s) you wish to reserve a room.
- You must have your student user name (ex:joev4457) and password to sign in and complete the reservation process.
- A $250 deposit is required to reserve a room for the academic year or spring semester.
- You may use a credit or debit card to pay your deposit online or you may mail a check to:

- Cancellations must be received in writing by July 1 for academic year agreements or Nov. 1 for spring only agreements to receive a refund of half of your deposit ($125).
- Cancellations received after the above dates forfeit the entire $250 deposit.
- The web process is a reservation only; your assignment will be made after April 1 for the following fall semester.
- You can log back in to complete a room reservation, pay the deposit or to verify your reservation confirmation and to view your room assignment.
- We cannot guarantee single room assignments until 10 days after the semester begins.

Please read the appropriate Residence Hall Agreement carefully. It is a legally binding agreement and is in effect for the entire academic year.
