  • 24-Hour Quiet
    All of our residence halls have quiet hours during the evenings. For students who prefer a quieter living environment, check out our 24-Hour Quiet floor.

  • College of Agriculture and Life Science
    For students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, our CALS floor is a great way to get connected and engaged with your classmates.

    For our students in our College of Natural Resources, our CNR Living Learning Community is an excellent way to get connected and engaged with your classmates. Our CNR LLCs are open to all level students, including first years.

    Our Engineering/Computer Science community is one of our largest and most connected communities in our residence halls. We offer a large first-year only community to help our younger students get engaged in the Tower, and many students choose to continue with the community into our Living Learning Community.

  • Fine Arts
    Our Fine Arts community is an excellent community for students interested in the arts. This diverse community is open to first-year through upper-level students majoring or interested in music, art, graphic design, theater, architecture, dance, virtual technology and design or any other fine arts degree.

  • Honors
    For high-achieving students and students admitted to our Honors program, we offer several academically-centered communities. We offer a large first-year only community to help our younger students get engaged in the Tower, and many students choose to continue with the community into our Living Learning Community.

  • Leadership
    For students interested in leadership, we offer two options. Students Taking an Active Role (S.T.A.R.) focuses on developing leadership skills and applying them to outside of the community. Mosaic focuses on building leadership skills around social justice and diversity.

  • Outdoor Recreation
    For students interested in outdoor recreation, we offer two floors that create collaborative programming opportunities to get residents engaged outside. Programming can range from opportunities on campus to joint trips outside of Moscow to explore the outdoors, and residents take an active role in planning and facilitating events.

  • Single Gender
    All rooms and suites in our residence halls are single gender. For students who would be more comfortable in a single gender environment, we offer several floors that are only open to a single gender.

    Additionally, all floors in the Tower and McConnell are single gender.
  • Sophomore and Older
    For residents interested in living with older students, we offer several options that are specific to sophomores through graduate students.

  • Substance-Free
    In this context, substance-free means that all students of this community, including those over 21, agree to abstain from alcohol. All of our residence halls are smoke- and drug-free, and alcohol is restricted for all students under the age of 21.
