Home Results Events History Sponsors Links Contact Us		UICSC Team at 2008 Awards Banquet       The UICSC team placed second overall at the 2008 SAE Clean Snowmobile Competition held in Houghton, Michigan March 10th through the 15th. The team placed well in many events, as summarized below. Second Place Overall Quietest Snowmobile Best Acceleration Best Internal Combustion Design Paper Cold Start Award Best Oral Presentation Our biggest achievements were having the quietest snowmobile and completing the cold start event, which proved to be troublesome to many teams with the switch to E-85.
