The University of Idaho is an innovative public research institution, specializing in international, cross-disciplinary arenas of impact, engaged teaching, and creative outreach and engagement programs.

Our accomplished faculty, staff, and alumni are transforming the lives of our students, the communities of our state, and the state of our world. We are also transforming ourselves as a university through focused attention on building a sustainable workplace that is personally rewarding, efficient and effective.

We will engage in active learning, multidisciplinary collaboration, and build on our strengths in areas of contemporary importance. We expect leadership – in striving for achievement, in extraordinary service to students, and in our purposeful attention to fostering trust and respect and the value of individual ideas and diverse perspectives in all that we do.
