The University of Idaho instituted a hiring pause in September 2008 in new hiring activity. On November 30, 2008, the status was modified to a Hiring Freeze. Its purpose is to ensure that all new hires made across the University are aligned with and in strong support of the Strategic Plan -- the roadmap for achieving our Vision.
