False Indicator- Message Waiting Light

If your message indicator light stays on but you do not have any new messages:

1. Uplug the phone for 1 minute. Plug the phone back in. If the light is still on go to step 2.
2. Call your number and leave yourself a test Voice Mail message, press #, hang up. You can do this from you own phone as the call will go directly into your voice mail.

Then dial 5-0086 to access Voice Mail and listen to the test message. Press 3, to delete the message. Then press the “*” key until the system says "thank you". Using this method to exit resets the system and ensures optimal performance.
