Making Change Happen on Campus

The Northwest Institute for Community Enrichment (the NICE) builds collaboration between diverse constituencies in order to create, define, and maintain community-based and entrepreneurial initiatives which enrich our communities. The NICE is a volunteer led organization that supports the development of creative and effective community organizing techniques and implementation of community-based solutions in the Pacific Northwest. The NICE will act as a catalyst for real change towards a future that is sustainable, just, and prosperous for all.

Three members of the NICE, headed by Nathan Jones, the Program Development Facilitator, will be provide workshops on Using the Power of Story to Motivate and Recruit People, Building Effective Leadership Teams, and Planning Collaborative Campaigns, all useful knowledge for students trying to make change on campus and in their own communities.
