Registration

We welcome registrations from faculty, staff members, and students at institutions of higher education in the Pacific Northwest, as well as interested local community members. Conference registration is limited to 100. Be sure to register early!

The majority of the NWWSA conference will take place in the Idaho Commons building, located in the center of the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, ID. The Friday night entertainment will be held at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center at 508 S. Main Street in downtown Moscow. The closing reception will be held in the Women's Center in Memorial Gym, room 109.

The conference begins with a round of concurrent workshops on Saturday, April 6 at 9:15 am.

You may check in for the conference on Friday, April 5th at 6:00 pm, before our featured performance by Naomi Grossman. There will be a conference registration table located in the lobby of the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center. In addition, there will be a conference registration table located outside of the Wellspring Room, located on the ground floor of the University of Idaho Commons building. The registration desk will open at 8:00 am on Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Conference sessions will be held in the Summit Conference Center, located on the 4th floor of the Idaho Commons building on the University of Idaho campus.

The conference opening/welcome and lunch will be held in the Whitewater & Clearwater Rooms, located on the ground floor of the Idaho Commons.

Yes, anyone is welcome to attend her comedy performance at the Kenworthy. Registered conference attendees will be admitted free of charge. Other guests will pay an entry fee for the performance ($10 general admission, $5 students).

Up until March 22, please email wcenter@uidaho.edu or call 208-885-2777 to cancel your registration. After March 22, a nominal fee will be retained for any canceled registrations. No cancellations will be accepted after April 1.

If you are unable to attend the conference, you can transfer your registration to another person by emailing wcenter@uidaho.edu by Monday, April 1, 2013.

When you register for the conference, there will be a field where you can indicate any dietary restrictions, and information for any necessary accommodations.

A blocks of 15 rooms has been reserved for the Northwest Women's Studies Association conference at the Best Western University Inn, which is within walking distance of campus. Please ensure you request the conference rate when making a reservation. The rate is $119.00 per night and includes a full hot breakfast. This block of rooms will be released on March 5, 2013.

Please note: Friday, April 5, 2013 is Vandal Friday, one of the University's main spring recruitment events. As such, hotel accommodations in town are likely to be limited. PLEASE book early to avoid disappointment.

Yes. There will be a room available near the various session rooms that will be private and accessible throughout the conference. Please contact us at wcenter@uidaho.edu to let us know you will be needing access to the facility and approximately the time(s) you will want to use it.
