AmeriCorps State & National Member: Women’s Mentoring Program and Service Learning & Volunteerism Program Coordinator

Salary Range: AmeriCorps living allowance ($12, 100), health insurance (if qualified), $5,550 Education Award (for those who successfully complete requirements)
Work Hours: 40 hours/week during term of service (September 1, 2013 – July 30, 2014), Pre-service hours: 20 hours/week (August 12 – 30)
Location: Moscow
Major Function: The Women’s Mentoring, Service Learning and Volunteerism Program Coordinator AmeriCorps Member reports directly to the Director of the Women’s Center and works closely with staff in both the Women’s Center and LGBTQA Office to assist in the development and implementation of two primary areas within the office: 1) The Program Coordinator will assist with the development, coordination and implementation of the Women’s Mentoring Program in the Women’s Center, and 2) The Program Coordinator will provide individual mentorship, guidance, and coordination of volunteers and service learning interns at the Women’s Center and LGBTQA Office at the University of Idaho. Members will fulfill all AmeriCorps requirements, including completing 1,720 hours of service, attending a week-long orientation in September/October and mid-service conference in March, participating in monthly team meetings and three service projects, and completing required reports. This is an 11-12 month position.
