Zulema Montenegro

Hi! My name is Obdulia Zulema Montenegro Lazalde and if that name made your head hurt just by looking at it than you could also call me Lulu or Zulema (pronounced sue-leh-mah). I am 19 years young and a feminist in learning.

I am a first-year student at the University of Idaho and majoring in International Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations. I hail from the beautiful Teton Valley nestled in Southeastern Idaho right next to the Wyoming border. I am a proud Latina with a beautiful heritage and immense familia. I have four brothers and my best friends are all male.

I am currently living in a sorority ( Gamma Phi Beta) thus the transition has been quite the ride. I enjoy snowboarding, snowmobiling, dancing, reading, graphic design, Harry Potter, eating chocolate, paintball shooting, dressing up, watching scary movies and making list! My favorite quote which is one that I like to model my life after is:
