Cesar Chavez Celebration
The life and legacy of Mexican-American labor activist and community organizer Cesar Chavez is honored in March at the University of Idaho through an annual celebration sponsored by the College Assistance Migrant Program. This celebration has served as an excellent example of student initiative and has benefited from a rich history of student involvement.
Farm Worker Awareness Week
National Farm Worker Awareness Week (NFAW) is a week of action for students and community members to raise awareness about farm worker issues on our campuses and in our communities. In 2015 we celebrate the 16th Annual National Farm Worker Awareness Week to raise awareness about farm worker conditions and to honor their important contributions to us every day!
