Our office sponsors a variety of programs throughout the year, including annual observances, educational programs, social events, speakers, film screenings and lunch discussions that are open to UI students, faculty and staff, as well as interested community members.

Stop in for a free lunch, get to know new folks and learn more about current LGBTQ issues. Lavender Lunches take place every Thursday in the Student Diversity Center (TLC 229). Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends!
Nerd Tuesdays!--Tuesdays starting at 5:00 PM at Safari Pearl
Do you like pop culture? Do you have one or more fandoms that you can't live without? Do you like to talk about nerdy stuff? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Nerd Tuesdays is for you.
New to spring 2014! We are happy to announce that Nerd Tuesdays will now be hosted at Safari Pearl Comics (221 E. 3rd St.) starting at 5pm until 7pm. Stop by for a chance to play one of Safari Pearl's board and card games, check out the new geeky merchandise, and be involved with a welcoming community of LGBTQA folks. First Nerd Tuesdays at the new time and location begins on January 21st. See you there!

Join us for our monthly sexual health education series featuring Virginia Solan, Coordinator of Violence Prevention, and the Speakers Bureau. Join us for an exploration of experiences, thoughts and ideas on self-care for those who are supporting romantic partners affected by sexual violence. This program is free and welcoming to all.
Lavender Graduation 2014
Lavender Graduation celebrates and recognizes the accomplishments of graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning and ally students, as well as acknowledges their contributions to the University of Idaho over the time they have spent here. This year, our 2014 Lavender Graduation will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:00 pm in the Commons Clearwater/Whitewater Rooms.
