Julia Keleher
I am originally a Midwesterner, born and raised in Sioux City, IA (on the border of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota). I attended Iowa State University where I received a bachelor’s in Psychology. For graduate school, I attended Minnesota State University, Mankato where I received two master’s degrees in Gender and Women’s Studies and Educational Leadership. I worked in the MSU, Mankato LGBT Center during my graduate studies. I fell in love with working in LGBTQA student service and it was a natural choice that I would become a professional lesbian. I am extremely lucky that I get to do what I love and talk about LGBTQA and social justice issues on a daily basis. In my spare time, I am a big geek. I love comic books, television, board games, and live music. Come by the LGBTQA Office (TLC 227) and say hi!
