What program should I use to create a slide announcement? ▼
All of these programs allow you to create a .jpg or .png file:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Microsoft Paint (Windows XP version)
- Micro Photo Editor
- Macromedia Freehand
- Macromedia Fireworks
- PowerPoint
An easy way to make slides is to change the size of a PowerPoint slide to 888 pixels wide by 580 pixels tall (11.84 inches x 7.73 inches). and then save it as a .jpg,
What content do I need to make a slide? ▼
You will need content and an image or a background for your slide.
Content Suggestions:
- Who is the event/activity or announcement for?
- What is the event/activity or announcement?
- When does the event/activity take place?
- What is the cost?
- Where does the event/activity take place?
When should I submit my flatscreen slide? ▼
- Flat screen slide requests must be received by designated personnel one week prior to requested run date.
- Slides may run for a maximum of two weeks or be submitted for renewal.
- If renewed, slides that required a set-up fee will be charged a $30.00 renewal fee at that time.
- All submissions must be accompanied by a clear start and end date.

How do I pay for a flatscreen slide? ▼
- If you are using a UI Budget submit it when you submit your slide using the Flatscreen Slide Submit Form
- If paying with Cash or Credit card, you should still submit your slide using the online form, then email ISCU-Display for payment forms.
- All advertising must be paid in advance using UI budget numbers (if established), cash or credit card.
- Cancellations must be expressed in written format and will result in forfeiture of set-up fee.
