For assistance with quitting smoking or chewing tobacco, there are resources available on-campus and in the community. Using a form of nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum, or lozenge) is highly recommended, rather than choosing to quit “cold turkey”. Contact a Tobacco Treatment Specialist for guidance on creating a quit plan, using nicotine replacement therapy properly, and taking the proper steps to creating a tobacco-free life.
