I Got Your Back - Campus Safety

“I Got Your Back” is a campus safety campaign that promotes Vandals taking care of each other.  There have been several amazing and inspiring examples on our campus of the courage that it takes to step up in a difficult situation to take care of friends, classmates, teammates and fellow Vandals. We hope to empower all of our students with the confidence and motivation to continue looking out for each other.

 The “I Got Your Back” theme focuses on bystander intervention and pro-social behavior modeled after the “Step Up!” Program created by the NCAA and the University of Arizona.  On this campus, we recognize the unique role that students can play in campus health and safety, and the health and safety of their peers, and we want to support their efforts with additional training and resources.
