Sisterhood Activities:
The sisterhood of the Beta Theta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta participates in numerous activities together year round. Some of our favorites are: Wearing our letters on Wednesday, Big-Lil Family nights, retreats, intramural sports, movie nights, house decorating, firesides, secret sisters, Christmas white elephant gift exchange, attending U of I concerts and events on campus, game nights, and Bid Day bowling.

Academic/Scholarship Activities:
Scholastic achievement is extremely important to the members of Kappa Alpha Theta. There are numerous scholarships given out to the members of Kappa Alpha Theta. Our international fraternity annually awards more than $300,000 in graduate and undergraduate scholarships while our local chapter also supplies several scholarships to our members specifically. Scholarship is our highest aim.

We are continually improving our scholarship program to work with and benefit all member needs. Perks to our program include: 24-hour quiet study areas, Fall/Spring banquets, our mentor/mentee program, group study opportunities, 4.0 plaque and various incentive programs. The fall of 2011 the Beta Theta chapter received 2nd in grades of the Greek community.

Philanthropic/Community Service Projects:
Supporting our local community and national philanthropy are key aspects of the Beta Theta chapter. As Thetas, we sponsor various fundraising opportunities for our national philanthropy, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), and our service projects include Theta Foot-Brawl, A Casa for CASA, Candy-grams, coloring books for CASA, and our annual spring event Rock the Casa. This year is will be held on April 25th and be a block party event. Some of the community service projects we gladly participate in are: Saturday of Service, Sojourner’s Alliance, Spring Valley Clean-Up, and Paint the Palouse. We love to support other chapters’ philanthropic fundraisers by competing in: Delta Chi's Bowling for Breast Cancer, Sigma Chi's Derby Days, Alpha Kappa Lambda's AKL's in Shackles, Theta Chi’s Lunch Box Social, Sigma Nu's Shoot Out, and Phi Delta Theta's Turtle Derby, to name a few.

Social/Campus Activities:
All work and no play? Not here at Theta. Our members are extremely active within our chapter and campus. Yearly chapter opportunities and social include; holding office, date functions, Initiation Dance, Twin Star Ball, Spring Dance, Greek Week, Sister Sorority socials, and fun with the WSU Theta chapter.
