Leadership Opportunities

The President is the leader of the Interfraternity Council at The University of Idaho and is responsible for coordinating and working with officers and external entities in all aspects of council management

10 Hours/week

The Vice President shall assist and manage  Executive Board Officers in the duties of their offices and preform the function of council President should the President be absent.

The Secretary shall: Keep minutes of the Council meetings and deliver a typed copy of these minutes to the IFC representatives and E-Board Members.

The Treasurer shall have charge of all matters concern finances of the Council and will both prepare and distribute copies of an annual budget.

The Public Relations Chairman is responsible for all IFC Publicity and Risk management Education and maintaining interaction with local media.

The Recruitment Chairman is responsible for Recruitment Activities in their entirety during his tenure.

The Assistant Recruitment Chairman assists the Recruitment Chairman during spring and fall Recruitment activities and acts as liaison between New Student Services and IFC Council.

The Judicial Board Chair is responsible for leading and administering the IFC Judicial Board.

Judicial Board Members are responsible for hearing any cases brought up when IFC rules have been violated by a member fraternity. 

The President of the Panhellenic Council oversees the operations of Panhellenic and acts as a liaison between the Greek Advisor, the University, the IFC, MGC, and other organizations both on and off campus.

The Panhellenic VP Leadership will perform the duties of the President in her absence, inability to serve or at her call. She will plan and schedule Panhellenic Meetings for the year; hold at least one round table for risk managers per month jointly with IFC Greek Relations Chair; and serve as chair of Panhellenic Judicial Board.

The Panhellenic VP Programming is responsible for Greek philanthropies and making sure philanthropy forms are turned in at least a month before the philanthropy event and filled out correctly; Responsible for Greek Sorority Programming; Responsible for Greek Scholarship; Responsible for Honor Societies.

The VP Operations shall  maintain a complete and current file of NPC Reports, the Constitution and bylaws, and rules of Panhellenic Council and keep an up-to-date roster of members of Panhellenic Council and Panhellenic Delegates.

The Assistant VP Recruitment  serves as a liaison between Panhellenic Council and New Student Services to coordinate daily house tours and the placement of overnight guests and acts in the VP Recruitments place when unavailable.

The VP Operations shall  maintain a complete and current file of NPC Reports, the Constitution and bylaws, and rules of Panhellenic Council and keep an up-to-date roster of members of Panhellenic Council and Panhellenic Delegates.

The VP of Public Relations is in charge of all publicity of the Panhellenic Council and activities which it participates.

Delegates to Panhellenic Council are selected by their respective chapters to attend all official Panhellenic meetings and conduct business on behalf of their chapter.

2 Hours/week

The Multicultural Greek Chair is responsible for leading Multicultural Greek bi-monthly meetings and working to coordinate MGC events, programs, and recruitment activities.

5 Hours/week

Each chapter offers a variety of leadership opportunities to their members. Please check with each chapter to see their specific officer and committee chair positions and responsibilities.
