MLK Jr. Day of Service
Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"
The National MLK Jr. Day of Service is a way of transforming his life into action that helps strengthen and empower local communities across the United States.
In 2012, hundreds of thousands of Americans spanning from different ages and backgrounds gathered within their communities to serve.
This year, The Volunteer Center will offer various service projects so that students at Idaho can engage in the National Martin Luther King Jr. Day of service and help transform their community. This year the day of service falls on January 21, 2013.
