Join hundreds of other University of Idaho students in a morning of service in and around the Palouse. Sign up to take part in Make a Difference Day here. We are also looking for site leaders on that day, sign up here to lead a group. 

If your living group, student organization or group of friends would like to serve together, sign up individually and shoot us an email so we can try to place you all together.

Make a Difference Day began at the University of Idaho in 2000.  Make a Difference Day takes place every October and often places 350-400 students in various service projects around the community. This year Make a Difference Day will be on Saturday, October 20. 

Students may sign up to volunteer individually as well as a part of a club, living group or class to be placed together at one volunteer site.  Projects in the past have included assisting at Orphan Acres Horse Rehabilitation, planting trees as part of watershed restoration efforts with PCEI, playing games and carving pumpkins at local senior centers and large scale maintenance projects in at local parks and schools.
