In conjunction with the Idaho Commons and Student Union, the Films committee is responsible for operating our on campus movie theater, the Borah Theater located in the Student Union Building. Films are shown 4 nights a week and are FREE to both students and community members.
Small Concerts
The Small Concerts committee strives to bring the best regional and national touring independent artists. Concerts represent the wide range of musical interest on campus – from hip hop to country to singer-songwriters. Small Concerts occur 4 to 5 times each semester and are free to students and community members.
Large Concerts
ASUI Vandal Entertainment hosts 2 to 3 large concerts a year that feature large-scale nationally touring artists. Large concerts are typically part of our large festivals at both the beginning and end of the academic year – Palousafest in August and Finals Fest in May.
Lectures and Performing Arts
The most diverse collection of events are produced by the Lectures and Performing Arts committee and include everything from large-scale lectures and comedians, to hypnotist and magicians. Lectures and Performing Arts hosts 3 to 4 events each semester.
Interested in helping to promote the events produced by ASUI Vandal Entertainment? The promotions committee is responsible for advertising campaigns for all events, as well as the organization as a whole. We are always looking for more volunteers, and it is an easy way to get involved.
