Legislative
The Legislative Branch of ASUI is composed of senators elected in both the fall and the spring. Senators write and pass legislation that allocates ASUI funds, states the official position of the Associated Students of the University of Idaho on issues, and alters the structure and administration of the student government. Senate meetings are every Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Whitewater Room of the Idaho Commons.

Hello, my name is Michael Cullen and I am an Advertising major here at U of I. As a senator, I represent Targee Hall, Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, and Alpha Kappa Lamba fraternity. I think of myself as an outgoing, unabashed individual of the Vandal community. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I am actively involved in Student Alumni Relations Board and AD club. You may find me competing in intramural sports, enjoying an indie film at the Kenworthy, or enthusiastically rocking out to my headphones on the way to class. My name is Shelby Donald and I am a sophomore majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Sociology. As a senator I want to voice the students’ input and implement what the students want. My goal is to represent students from all areas of campus and be an outlet from students to express their ideas. I strive to help students get involved on campus and take advantage of the resources the university provides. This year I am directly representing Sigma Chi and Sigma Nu.

My name is Sadie Grossbaum and I am majoring in Recreation with an emphasis in Outdoor Leadership and a minor in Psychology. I am a member of the University of Idaho Swing Dance Club as well as Freethought Moscow, and this semester will be my second semester as a senator. My name is Halle Smith and I am currently serving my last semester as an ASUI Senator. I will be graduating in May with degrees in both Business Management and Business Marketing. I currently serve as the Senate Representative for the Delta Tau Delta, Beta Theta Pi, and Phi Kappa Tau Fraternities. As a student who loves to take advantage of the free programming, concerts, and activities that ASUI provides, I hope to help with promotions and inform all students what great activities are available to them.

My name is Katie Cramer and I am a freshman here at the University of Idaho studying Early Childhood Education and Development. My name is Scott McIntosh, and I am currently a sophomore majoring in Business-Economics with an emphasis in finance. The living groups I directly report to are Pi Beta Phi and Kappa Sigma. I hope to better foster a link between student concerns and having ASUI openly address them in order to create the best collegiate experience possible. I enjoy hanging out with friends, skiing, basketball, and staying involved in the community. I look forward to serving the students of the U of I, and to give back for all that it has given me.
