What We Do
The Department of Student Involvement is home to ASUI Student Government (Legislative and Executive branches),
The Center for Volunteerism and Social Action,
Student Media, Idaho Commons and Student Union Programming,
Leadership Programs and
Student Organizations.
We enhance students' lives by providing social, cultural and educational programs, employment, service and leadership opportunities and the opportunity to affect positive change in all of our communities.
Check out our
brief video featuring our students speaking about why involvement matters!
Impact of Involvement
Last year over 2,100 student participated in over 170 student organizations. In 15 Alternative Service Break trips, 184 students volunteered in 3 different countries. Vandal Entertainment Board entertained more than 12,500 students with on campus programming. ASUI student representatives were on over 60 university committees. These are just a sampling of the impact our students have on university life.
