About the Teachers:

Ellen Tennyson

Ellen Tennyson has been at the UICC since September 2011. She has worked with preschool aged children since 2009. Ellen has her bachelors from Humboldt State University in Sociology and a minor in Early Childhood Development. She enjoys fall weather, reading, crafting, animals, and traveling.

Misty Amarena

Misty Amarena graduated from the University of Idaho in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Education.  She is married and has been living here since 2008. She has worked with students at the preschool, elementary, middle, and high school levels and enjoys the processes of each stage of development.  She strives to instill a passion and desire for learning in students of all ages.  Outside of work she enjoys all the outdoor activities Idaho has to offer, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
