About the Children's Center
The University of Idaho Children's Center is a place of learning and discovery for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years old. The Children's Center is accredited by NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the leading membership association for those working with and on behalf of young children.
The University of Idaho Children's Center has their own food service coordinator who provides healthful breakfast, lunch, and snack options for children a weekly menu is posted on our website.
Our teacher to child ratio is determined on a room by room basis. Our rooms are set up by age group, starting with infants, and going all the way to pre-kindergarten rooms. Each room categorized by colors.
