Climbing

The UI Climbing Club is made up of a community of rock climbers that love pushing our limits within the sport. We compete in the Northwest College Climbing Competition series, with competitions in schools around Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. The series itself is a larger community, bringing friends from around the Northwest together through the sport of climbing. After our first competition at Eastern Washington University, we even had one of our climbers, Andy Gonzalez, make it to the finals!

All skill levels are accommodated, so even if you've never climbed before Climbing Club is a great place to start. If your interested in climbing and joining the club, contact the Climbing Club President Chase Nelson at nels0891@vandals.uidaho.edu, or stop by the climbing wall for information.
