Open Kayak Pool Sessions
UI Swim Center 
Open pool sessions are a chance for kayakers of all experience levels to work on skills in the safety of the pool.
Cost: $5 (pay at pool) equipment and instruction
Dates: March 25, April 1, 15, 22 & 29, 7-10pm

Women's Whitewater Kayak Clinic
UI Swim Center
Women's Only Clinic.  Learn basic strokes, the roll and introduction to moving water and boat safety.
Cost: $30 includes equipment and leadership. 
Clinic: March 30, 7-10pm 

Whitewater Kayak Clinic
This clinic will teach you the basic paddling strokes, braces, Eskimo roll and boat fitting.
UI Swim Center
Cost: $30 equipment and instruction.
Clinic: April 8, 7-10pm

Whitewater Kayak Instructional Course
Clearwater River, Idaho
Take the next step in your adventure by experiencing the flow and fun of whitewater kayaking.  We will spend the day learning all details of running the river form catching an eddy and peeling out, to scouting and running a rapid.  Participants must have attended the pool sessions in order to participate.
Cost: $85 includes transportation, equipment and instruction.
          $50 with own equipment

Potlatch River Rafting
Potlatch River, Idaho
Come enjoy a local whitewater rafting run at the peak of it's excitement. 
Cost: $50 includes transportation, equipment and instruction.
Trip: April 4  Pre-Trip:  April 1 at 5pm

Kayak Touring Instructional Clinic
Lake Chatcolet, Idaho
This clinic is ideal for those seeking an introduction to sea kayaking.  You will learn the basics of efficient paddling techniques, equipment, recoveries and safety.  
Cost: $40 includes transportation, equipment and instruction. 
Trip: April 25  Pre-Trip:  April 23 at 5pm 

Oregon Coast Surfing
Cannon Beach, Oregon
Spend the weekend hiking, surfing and camping on the Oregon Coast.
Cost: $85 includes transportation, equipment and instruction.
Board rental fee extra, kayaks welcome.
Trip: April 17-19   Pre-Trip:  April 15 at 5pm 

How to Participate:

Sign up for trips and clinics begin the first day of classes at the Outdoor Program Office in the Student Recreation Center. Fees are due at sign-up and are non-refundable. Pre-trip meetings are held at the SRC.
