Wallowa Mountain Lakes Backpacking Trip

This is a 3-day backpacking trip that is primarily designed for beginners yet open to all, it’s an opportunity to discover one of the hidden gems of our area; The Wallows Mountains are often described as the “Alps” of Oregon. 
Cost:$40 includes transportation and leadership 
Trip: August 30th – September 1 Pre-Trip: August 28, at 5pm in the SRC Classroom
 

Grandmother Mountain Day Hike
This is a day hike designed primarily for beginners yet encouraged for all, this trip offers participants a hike to the Palouse’s highest peak in the region.
Cost: $25
Trip: September 7, Pre-Trip September 4, 5pm


Mountain Bike Mondays
Introduction rides on area trails on Moscow Mountain 
Cost: $5 includes  4:30pm til dusk
Rides: September 8, and October 6     



Work to Backcountry Ski-Aneroid Basin

This is a 3-day trip for all ability levels; the purpose of this trip is not only to delve into this beautiful wilderness area, as well, the readying of the ski huts for the winter season. Participants of this trip earn priority for a spring hut trip!
Cost: $20
Trip Date: September 19th-21st, Pre-trip: September 17th at 5:00 pm



Work to Backcountry Ski-Wing Ridge
This is a 3-day trip for all ability levels; the purpose of this trip is not only to delve into this beautiful wilderness area, as well, the readying of the ski huts for the winter season. Participants of this trip earn priority for a spring hut trip!

Outdoor Photography Workshop
This workshop is designed to improve almost anyone’s photography. The Design of the class is to cover the basics the first class, after which we will issue shoot assignments for the week that will be viewed and critiqued the second class.
Cost: $10
Class Dates: October 7 and 14 at 6:00pm
Trip Date: November 23- November 29, Pre-trip: November 19 at 5pm



Utah Desert Backpacking - Escalante, Thanksgiving Break

This is a 6-day trip designed for experienced backpackers, Escalante personifies some of the brilliance of the Utah desert, so this opportunity offers the perfect chance to explore the wilderness of Utah.
Cost: $190



Wilderness First Responder Course and Refresher

How to Participate:

Sign up for trips and clinics start the first day of classes at the Outdoor Program Office in the Student Recreation Center. Fees are due at sign-up and are non-refundable. Pre-trip meetings are held at the SRC.
