Alumni Association
The College Assistance Migrant Program Alumni Association (CAMPAA) is a non-profit organization, CAMPAA collaborates with the University of Idaho CAMP program which is who has been awarded a federally-funded grant who collectively enroll more than 35 freshmen college students annually. CAMP provides these first-generation, low-income students first-year financial and on-going academic support. Since 1972, CAMP grants boast of college retention rates of over 90%.
We believe that a key component to a student’s long-term success within higher education can be significantly enhanced by experiencing effective internships and service learning. We further believe that organizations that decide to strategically partner with CAMPAA will obtain an edge over their industry competition by hiring our students and alumni. CAMP students are typically bilingual (Spanish), focused, resourceful, serious, enthusiastic, hard-working, appreciative, loyal, and tested student leaders. Our mentorship values focus on: Academics, Community Service and Leadership.
