Executive Branch

This branch includes the ASUI President and Vice President. Together these positions are charged with the responsibility of administering the many departments of the ASUI and representing students before the UI Administration, the Board of Regents, and the State of Idaho.

Hannah Davis, President

The ASUI President is the official spokesperson of the ASUI. She is responsible for all administrative and executive functions of the ASUI as established by the constitution, rules and regulations, and bylaws of the student government. She reports to the Senate on her activities weekly and has veto power over any legislation the Senate passes. She appoints all members including chairs to the various boards and committees. She meets regularly with the State Board of Education, State Legislature, Vandal Boosters, Alumni Association, and UI Foundation.

The ASUI Vice President is the President and Chairperson of the Senate and is responsible for carrying out all duties assigned by the ASUI President and Senate. The Vice President ensures and enhances proper and effective representation of on and off campus students. She/he is also responsible for the maintaining and enforcing the constitution, rules and regulations and the bylaws and may reprimand members of the ASUI when necessary (usually in conjunction with the Pro Tempore).

The Chief of Staff serves at the President's discretion. Some of their duties include planning the Legislative Breakfast in the spring with the Lobbyist; and management of the President's Cabinet.

Bruno Bennett, Director of Policy

The Director of Policy advises the president on all decisions, and assists in duties prescribed by the president.

Director of Communications
