Top College Success Skills: I am very organized, I take organized notes efficiently in class and as I read any text book. I use a few well-chosen key words rather than long explanations. I use margins to highlight important points in order to increase speed and explanations. I use margins to highlight important points in order to increase speed and comprehension skills. My best formula for successful reading SQ3R: Survey, Questions, Read, Recite, and Review.

Tutoring Style: I like to adapt my tutoring style to each student; however, there are certain things that I like to stress:
I am patient.

I will work with you and only assign what you think you can accomplish. If more than one thing is assigned, I will give you a prioritized list so that you know what you should do first. That way if something comes up and you don’t have as much time as you thought you would, you still get the most important work done.

I want to make the tutoring process enjoyable, not something that you dread every time you come to my session. I will ask for your interests so that I can better accomplish this goal.

I am open to suggestions, and I would love to hear your feedback.
