Tutoring & College Success supports students in their educational endeavors by providing academic and personal success strategies through structured courses, workshops/presentations, and individual advising.

INTR 101: Focus on Success
Focus on Success is a course offered to all University of Idaho students who wish to develop strategies for setting academic goals and coping with coursework. These include study strategies, university orientation, learning styles, and career options. We reach these goals by focusing on:
- Increasing your independence as a learner
- Defining your career goals and major
- Learning how personality and learning style influence success
- Learning and applying successful study methods
- Financial Literacy
- Graduate School information
- Discovering University of Idaho opportunities
Tutoring and College Success offers Focus on Success each semester. For Fall 2013 we are offering two 8-week sections:

College Success Presentations
Students, staff, and faculty may request personalized presentations on success strategies. Fill out the
online Presentation Request or complete the printable Presentation Request and either email it to
tutoring@uidaho.edu or deliver it to the ASAP office in the Idaho Commons, Rm 306.
Advising Appointments
Individual appointments can be made with Tutoring & College Success staff to assist students in determining their tutoring and college success needs, as well as to answer questions and provide resources about the University of Idaho.
