Meeting Minutes for March 25, 2004
Conclave
Conclave was a lot of fun and we won first place in the Quiz Bowl! Next year we will defend
our title at Humboldt in California!
Vandal Friday
We will have a booth for the Vandal Friday students from 7-11 in Kibbie Dome. If you have time,
please stop by and chat with some of the students.
Hells Canyon Garden Creek Nature Conservancy
We will be leaving at 3 pm tomorrow, March 26 and be back sometime Sunday, March 28th.
Bring some work clothes and hiking gear. Prepare for the weather. Food will be provided
(but you may want to bring snacks). We may get to explore for some bats too.
Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Banquet
We decided to hold off on auctioning the elk mount. If you can help with set up for the banquet,
please contact Troy.
Raptor Club
The WSU Raptor Club will be presenting April 5th in CNR 10. Time TBA.
Reservist Meeting
April 6th at 6:30 in the warm water aquaculture lab (by the Kibbie Dome)
Natural Resources Week April 19-25
TWS is working with RRTA on “Boogie-in-the-Barn” on either April 23 or 24. If you can help with
flyers, set-up, or clean-up, please email Sam at cisn2449@uidaho.edu.
Also, if you have any ideas for Field Day activities with the kids, please email Mackenzie at
shar3840@uidaho.edu.
SAC Report
NRECB challenged us to a water balloon throwing contest. To help, contact Matt at
vand4224@uidaho.edu. Tomorrow, March 26th, is the last day for photo contest entries so please
get those in. Also, if you have pictures for a NR Week slideshow, please contact Matt.
Soup Feed
Wednesday, March 31st, from 11- till sold out. Last time we sold out of soup in ˝ hour so if
we can get more supplies that would be awesome. Email Mackenzie if you can bring an item
or help.
Treasurer Report
We have $300 currently but will be reimbursed $1000 for Conclave expenses.
Officer Nominations
Nominations for 2004-2005 officer positions will be taken at the next meeting, April 8th.
