The society strives to uphold the high ideals of scholastic achievement, and therefore, only students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) at the start of their junior year or a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in any semester during their junior or senior year are eligible.

At the University of Idaho, membership is limited to two members from each fraternity and sorority on campus. The Alpha Theta Chapter prides itself on the unity of its members and their social interaction coupled with academic leadership and achievement.

Members must attend at least three meetings annually, and participate in one of the chapter’s community service projects or philanthropies to retain membership privileges.
