Summer recruitment for 2007 is under way and we will be visiting a town near you. We would like the opportunity to meet any and all potential new members. We have several large summer recruitment activities planned this year and will be contacting all new recruits to arrange a time to join and get to know more about Alpha Tau Omega. We want to get to know you as well so if you are interested in any of these activities please feel free to email our Recruitment Chairman Jeff Stackhouse.

Greek Games a Success!
This year Alpha Tau Omega took first in the University of Idaho's Greek Week! That is a large accomplishment for us considering the small numbers we currently have. We all banded together like true brothers and worked hard to accomplish our goals.

Special thanks go out to Kappa Kappa Gamma for being our partners for the Greek Week skits.

Updating...
It has been a while since we've had an update on the ATO Delta Tau Chapter web site.
We have been going through many changes here at ATO, such as a new core group of officers and the ATO property being bought out by a property management group that takes care of all the repairs, etc.

There will be several upcoming events planned this Spring semester for fund raising and rush events. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Tin Canner 2006
Tin Canner 2006 went off perfectly and we all had a great time! All the cans we collected will be donated to a charitable fund that will be decided later today.

Many ATO members will be heading home from school in the next couple weeks and I wish them well. Stay safe and play hard bro's, we'll see you in the Fall 2006!

Founders Day/Mom's Weekend
This year the Founders Day coincides with the University of Idaho's Mom's Weekend event! Things will be a bit crammed here at the Delta Tau Chapter but will be lots of fun. Many events are planned for the Alumni and moms that will be sure to keep everyone busy this year.

Sadly, the Nick Cannon Memorial Golf Tournament may have to be canceled because of scheduling conflicts at the University of Idaho's golf course.

On another note, many Junior members of the Delta Tau Chapter are having birthdays this week. Please wish our President Ron and Dylan a Happy Birthday if you see them. Be safe and many more to come!

Alumni Database and Login
Through the help of John Doria our Alumni Chairman from our local Board of Trustees we now have a portal for Alumni to get in touch with each other. This is a great contribution from John and if you have any further questions you can reach him by email here.

The ATO Delta Tau Alumni Database can be reached HERE.

New Officers Elected
New officers have been elected for the Spring 2006 semester and an updated list is being made soon. Congratulations to all who got elected and here's to great semester! Cheers!

In other news, we have gotten one new "snap" to pledge ATO already and are actively working on getting a few more this semester. We have split up into a couple of recruitment teams and are having a friendly contest to see who can get the most snaps this semester. Should be motivating and help get some great new pledges!

Pictures taken down...
I guess our pictures were showing us having "too much fun" and needed to be taken down. Guess I'll have to use my Photoshop skills to edit some of these problem pictures....

One of our members Bryson Dye, here at ATO was involved in a car accident over Thanksgiving break and has been seriously hurt. I don't wish to elaborate on his injuries but it does appear that he will pull through and be back on his feet eventually. He is staying in the Lewiston hospital and will be there through the next few weeks. I'll try to find out a way to contact him directly so if anyone wishes they can wish him a speedy recovery.

Update: Bryson Dye is on the road to recover and doing well. He spent the Christmas break at home with family and friends recovering from his wounds. He has a brace for his back now and will be getting that taken off hopefully around the end of January.

Rush ATO!
It's that time of the year again and Greek Rush is upon us. Alpha Tau Omega and it's members are working hard to provide a great Greek Rush for 2005!

Greek Rush 2005 starts August 17th and goes until the 20th. You can find out more formal information about Greek Rush at the University of Idaho Greek Life home page.

If you are planning on staying with us and want to know more about what we have planned for the weekend, please contact our Rush Chairs by email.

We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in the fall.

Greek Games!

Alpha Tau Omega had great success this year at the University of Idaho's Greek Games. We placed FIRST in the sporting event and placed in almost all the other events. We had a great time with the Delta Gamma's planning and performing the Greek Game skits. Thank you DGs for joining us and we'll win next year for sure!
