City of Moscow Transportation Plan Drop-In Workshops | Tuesday & Wednesday October 9th and 10th | 10am - 7pm (closed noon to 1pm daily)
One World Café (meeting room)
533 South Main Street

Moscow on the Move is picking up steam and the City has a big event planned to keep up the momentum! Moscow on the Move, the city’s long range multi-modal transportation plan initiated in April 2012, will establish a twenty-year strategy that prioritizes short- and long-term improvements to the pedestrian and bicycle environment, local transit service, and the citywide roadway network.

As Moscow on the Move is developed, the City of Moscow needs your help identifying transportation projects that are needed throughout the city. Drop in to Moscow on the Move’s interactive community workshop at any time between 10:00am and 7:00pm on October 9th and 10th (please note the hours in which the workshop will be closed). This intimate two-day workshop is intended to educate community members about existing transportation conditions and provide input on the plan’s direction and specific transportation improvements that should be included in the Plan. This workshop is designed for you to stay as long as you would like and provides you the convenience of attending on one of two days.  Stay 5 minutes, 15 minutes, an hour, or more!

The workshop will offer various informative stations highlighting the plan’s process, existing mobility-related conditions in Moscow, and best practices seen in similar university towns. Community members can also make their mark on the Plan by participating in an interactive mapping exercise designed to allow community members to specify transportation improvements that should be included in the Plan. All ideas are welcome!

Please check the project website during the week of October 1st for the final workshop schedule. For more information about participating in the workshop, to view the recently released Transportation Fact Book, or to learn more about Moscow on the Move, visit the project website at or visit the official Moscow on the Move Facebook page at Story Contact: Kevin Lilly, City Engineer, (208) 883-7034,
