2014 Staff Awards Reception

Friday, April 11, 2014
1:00-3:00pm, SUB Ballroom

Awards are given to staff that have shown exemplary dedication and have gone above and beyond their normal job duties at the University of Idaho. Staff who qualify for the award are nominated by their peers and reviewed through an award process conducted by the Staff Affairs Staff Awards subcommittee. Additionally, those staff retiring from the university will also be recognized along with the longevity awards for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 years of service to current employees.

UI Boise is doing a collection to benefit the new Valley Women and Children’s shelter in Canyon County.

February 4 | College Info Night
University of Idaho, North Idaho College, Lewis-Clark State College, Idaho State University and Boise State University are collaborating again this year for the 5th Annual College Info Night. Prospective students will have a chance to meet with representatives from Idaho schools as well as attend workshops on Financial Aid, Career Exploration, College Success, Professional Technical Education and Dual Credit. Please encourage prospective new and transfer students you know in Coeur d'Alene to attend. FREE PIZZA and prizes!

February 5 | Transfer Day
From 9:00-12:00 noon North Idaho College Students will have a chance to meet with representatives from University of Idaho colleges and get information on transferring.

February 11 | Science on Tap
“Beyond Training: Mastering Endurance, Health and Life” with Ben Greenfield. In this presentation, attendees will learn how to optimize performance, digestion, recovery, sleep, brain and hormone optimization to maximize the process of achieving amazing feats of physical performance while staying healthy on the inside and healthy on the outside.
