University of Idaho Staff of the Month
Brett Travis, ISFSS AmeriCorps, from the International Program Office. Brett has been recognized for his outstanding work, going above and beyond in helping others and making the University of Idaho a great place to work and learn.
About the program...
The Kudo staff recognition program is another way to say thank you to our colleagues statewide who go above and beyond their duties to make the University of Idaho a great place to work.
In addition to each Kudo recipient receiving a card and online tribute, Staff Affairs randomly draws from the pool of Kudo-ed staff to determine the University of Idaho Staff of the Month. The Staff of the Month is announced on-air through Inland Northwest Broadcasting radio stations in addition to a certificate and sponsored gift.

University of Idaho and the Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse partner to raise funds for 30 local non-profits
The 5th annual Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse (AGMP) was held in Moscow on Dec. 4, 2013 at the UI Prichard Art Gallery. The Market raises funds for 30 local non-profits by providing meaningful gifts from the heart through charitable donations. With the help of our partners, we spend less than $500 and raise over $18,000 largely $5 at a time. With the purchase of a $5 gift card, shoppers can support over 148 needs on the Palouse including feeding the homeless, supporting a non-violent community, supporting the arts, feeding rescues horse, maintaining recreation trails and so much more. The Market was held at the UI Prichard Art Gallery. Funds were raised for several UI organizations. University Housing organized 50 + student volunteers that helped run the Market. Other UI partners include: College of Education, the UI Theater Department costume shop, Idaho Commons and Student Union, Women’s Center, Office of the President, Staff Affairs and Sodexo. On-line shopping is available through December 14th at www.agmpalouse.org.
