Why did you choose the University of Idaho?
When I visited the campus, I really liked the environment in Moscow, the size of the university and the fact that I wouldn’t see anybody I went to high school with.

Start early and use flash cards.
What is your go-to study snack?
Chips and salsa.
What UI memory makes you laugh the most?
Running down Greek Row in my underwear with the rest of my pledge class on Bid Day. I don’t think the university allows this anymore.

I have worked for the intramural program and have participated in a variety of different sports.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I will spend the next year working as a scribe in the emergency department of a hospital in Portland, Oregon. During this time, I’ll be applying to many medical schools across the country, hoping to be accepted and start during the fall of 2017.
What should incoming first-year students know?
Take a variety of different classes because you will never know what will spark your interest. Also get involved on campus in any way possible.
What advice to you have for other students in your major?
Participate in undergraduate research! Also develop good time management skills so that you can accomplish all of your goals.
