I am the Undergraduate and Graduate Student Affairs Coordinator for the Department of Biological Sciences. My responsibilities include academic advising for new freshmen and transfer students and continuing freshmen and sophomore majors in the department. I also provide staff support for recruitment, admission and retention of graduate students. My office is a “one-stop shop” for students and faculty who have questions about the curriculum and university academic regulations. If I don’t know the answer to an academic question, it is my job to know where on campus to call to get answers.
Prospective undergraduate and graduate students are strongly encouraged to contact me with general questions about the department and the biology curriculum.

My major responsibility is to provide supervisory support for the biology undergraduate teaching laboratory facilities. I handle all course-related orders, equipment requests, and instructional media support. I collaborate with faculty and instructors on lab development and staging; provide technical assistance to teaching assistants and students; ensure lab safety compliance; and oversee lab facility maintenance and improvements.
Additional work responsibilities are management of Biology Stores which includes inventory maintenance and control, sales and billing, and customer service; and duties associated with my appointment as Department Property Inventory Liaison.
