Analysis of the percentage of interface zone developed in the west by state and county. Also free software is available to generate community/neighborhood level economic profiles based on 2000 Census data, but updated regularly with new information. Requires PC.

The Exurban Change Program – Ohio State

Spokane Aquifer Joint Board
Informative website about the Spokane Valley – Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer and the collaborative efforts on the Washington side between stakeholders.  

Panhandle Health District
Information about the aquifer and septic system limits for development over the aquifer. There are also lists of program operating in the area for protection, sampling, and education about water quality threats from human settlement.
