Join the Discussion

Two additional open forums to discuss the "Human Communities" Arts and Humanities Signature Engagement area were held in June 2010. Based on faculty members' expertise and interests, initial thematic areas were identified under the broad theme of "Human Communities." To facilitate ongoing discussions, potential collaborations, and external funding opportunities, facilitators were identified to coordinate communication with all interested faculty.

We will continue discussion in the fall to:

1. broaden participation in these thematic areas,
2. consider additional thematic areas/modification of existing themes,
3. develop the next steps to support research and outreach collaboration and pursue external funding when possible.
