Federal Relations at the University of Idaho
Federal relations at the University of Idaho are managed by Vice President for Research and Economic Development John “Jack” McIver.
Vice President McIver and Interim President Don Burnett are the official voices for the institution, bringing attention to University of Idaho priorities at the federal level. With assistance from DC-based consultant Carolyn Fuller of Van Scoyoc and Associates, the vice president acts as a liaison between faculty members and the
federal delegation and funding agencies, facilitating connections to enhance knowledge of and support for the university on a federal level.
