The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), or the stimulus, provided some $21 billion for scientific research and development, the purchase of scientific equipment, and science-related construction.
To date the University of Idaho has brought in over $8 million dollars in ARRA funding which is approximately over half of the total distributions to the State of Idaho.
