The OED is part of the Office of Research and Economic Development at the University of Idaho. The office has the goal of supporting and promoting economic development throughout the state. This includes working with state agencies, businesses, and the economic development community to identify opportunities to utilize the resources and expertise found within the University system, as well as gain feedback to adjust policies and curriculum within the University to better meet the needs of Idaho employers.
