NOTE: If a student has received credit for a course based on a college preparatory examination, such as AP, IB, A-Level, GAC but does not feel prepared for the next course in the sequence, they may elect to forgo the course credit they have received based on the test score in order to take the course at the University of Idaho. To decline the exam course credit a student must submit a
College Preparatory Credit Exclusion form to the Office of the Registrar by the end of the fourth week of the semester the student is retaking the course. The exam course will remain on the transfer record, but the credit will be excluded from the total credit earned. Students should be aware that they will not be able to request credit for the exam reinstated after electing to forgo the credit. This policy is not petitionable to the Academics Petitions Committee.
