Transfer Guides for USAC Specialty Programs
The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) offers students learning opportunities at various sites around the globe. Studies through the following USAC Specialty Programs, sometimes referred to as Language & Culture Programs, are granted University of Idaho resident credit.
Acceptance of any course for graduate-level credit must be pre-approved by USAC and the University of Idaho.
Special topics courses, offered by visiting faculty at the USAC sites, are not listed in these transfer guides. Credit for these courses is normally granted as elective credit (204 or 404) upon evaluation and recommendation of the corresponding academic department. These credits may be used toward degree requirements with approval from the student's advisor; a Degree Audit Substitution/Waiver form must be completed.
It is suggested that students studying abroad obtain and retain course descriptions and/or course syllabi when on location. This documentation may be required for acceptance of or transferability of credit.
