The University of Idaho has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide both enrollment and Degree verifications.
Official Enrollment Verification
Students may obtain official certification of their enrollment free of charge from NSC by accessing their VandalWeb and selecting the Enrollment Verification option under the Student Information/Registration Menu. By selecting this option, the student will be redirected to the NSC website where they may choose either a Current enrollment or All enrollment under the Obtain an enrollment certificate option. The official enrollment certificate will be generated as a PDF file that the student may then print and provide to the requestor. These printed certificates are official and nationally accepted for certification of enrollment. Official enrollment verifications are only available after the beginning of each semester.
Students needing a confirmation of their enrollment prior to the beginning of the semester may print a copy of their Advanced Registration Certificate to provide to the requestor until the official enrollment verification becomes available. The Advanced Registration Certificate is accessed under the Enrollment Verification option under the Student Information/Registration Menu in VandalWeb. An alternative is for the student to print a copy of their schedule from VandalWeb
Students needing verification for the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend, Canadian Student Loans, or other specialized requests must submit their forms directly to the Registrar's Office for processing. To prevent delays in processing, students should be sure to sign their form and provide a complete mailing address or fax number. Normal processing of enrollment verification requests by the Registrar's Office is approximately 3 business days.
Enrollment Status Calculation
Enrollment status is calculated as follows for each semester including summer. Enrollment status is different than fee calculation status.
|Three-Quarter Time (Q)
Good Student Discounts
Students needing verification of good student status for insurance discounts must submit their completed and signed form to the Registrar's Office for processing. The student must sign this form, even if not required by the insurance company, in order for confidential grade point information to be released. Normal processing of good student discount requests is approximately 3 business days.
Agencies or employers requesting verification of a student's degree or enrollment should request this information directly through the National Student Clearinghouse DegreeVerify service.
The University of Idaho Registrar's Office does not monitor a student's anticipated graduation date nor require students to graduate within a specific time, therefore an anticipated graduation date cannot be independently verified.
Students who need verification of an earned degree should request a copy of their transcript.
